Advanced Rig Move simulator training

The next course is Sept 22-25. The course is for experienced Barge Masters, Barge Engineers, Barge Supervisors, and existing Rig Movers who want to improve on their rig moving skills. The simulator exercises can be adjusted to various levels of difficulty depending on a student's experience. Our MOSEP Rig Move simulator course (Marine Operations of Self Elevating Platforms) is the prerequisite course to Advanced Rig Move. Depending on your level of experience you may not have to attend the MOSEP course before the Advanced Rig Move course. Contact us for details.

The Advanced Rig Move Simulator course will mostly consist of simulator exercises (4 days). There will be 1 to 2 hours of theory for the first 3 days. The theory covers both Rig Move Operations and Tow Vessel Operations. Several practical simulations will be carried out throughout the course, enabling the student to experience and practice in real time, issues that can occur during rig move operations.
