Seaway Maritime Services Co., Ltd (Seaway Academy) is an approved Training Center for the Offshore Oil and Gas Industry located in Bangkok, Thailand. Seaway's STCW / IMO courses are approved by Liberia, Marshall Islands, Vanuatu, and also accepted by the Panama Maritime Administration.

Seaway Academy's certificates are accepted world-wide. The certificates issued will also comply with regulations in the United Kingdom and Canada; US Coast Guard (USCG) and the International Maritime Organization (IMO). These courses are suitable for all MOU personnel involved in stability calculations, including self-elevating platforms (Jack-Ups).

Seaway Academy's certificates have been accepted by the Panama Maritime Authority (UK) several times for transfer to Panamanian Certificates.

Seaway Maritime Services Co. Ltd. (Seaway Academy) is a registered Training Center in Thailand. Thailand is a member of the IMO Whitelist of Countries, therefore all STCW / IMO Training Certificates issued by Seaway Academy are recognized and accepted by all other Flag authorities listed on the IMO Whitelist.

Our STCW / IMO courses are normally taught in a classroom but because of the Covid-19 pandemic, Seaway Academy has obtained approval from Liberia, Marshall Islands and Vanuatu to provide the training online; both as Virtual Online Training and as Self-Study Tutor Assisted (eLearning) until the crisis is over.
