Is your certification compliant?

Because of the downturn in the Oil and Gas Industry (2014) we are finding many Operations Mangers, Drilling Rig Managers, HR Managers, Training Coordinators and Oil Rig Crew are not aware the International Maritime Organization (IMO) has updated the Training Requirements for the Industry.

If Offshore Oil Rig Crew have not updated their training since December 2013 for the courses listed below, then their certification is not compliant. With the downturn beginning around the same time as these new requirements came into effect many are not aware of this.

• Comprehensive Stability (OIM, BS, BCO)

• Offshore Installation Manager (OIM)

• Ballast Control Operator (BCO)

• Barge Supervisor (BS)

All courses listed above are provided at Seaway Academy and are compliant with IMO Resolution A.1079(28). Seaway Academy training centers are located for your convenience in Bangkok, Thailand and Abu Dhabi, UAE and scheduling for the two training centers are arranged so they do not overlap.
