Comprehensive Stability – meets all STCW requirements listed under the International Maritime Organization (IMO). Resolution A.1079(28) - MODU Stability - for the training of OIM, Barge Supervisor, Ballast Control Operator.
Pre-requisites:
Completion of a certified Ballast Control Operator (BCO) course, or a certified course in Comprehensive Stability (Basic Theory and Applied Stability / formally Stability 2). Can be expired but is required.
About the course:
As an alternative to the five day classroom training requirement, this online training course will enable a BCO needing re-certification to be able to complete their five year re-certification process and for any individuals who had a lapse of service of two years as an active BCO to be retrained utilizing this course prior to being re-employed as a BCO.
